About the camp:
The arrival is on Sunday. The day to meet all other participants, to decorate your room and to become familiar with the castle or estate. You also meet the Teen Camp team and we discuss the weekly schedule. Maybe you have to get used to everything being in English. Each day, two lessons of two hours each are on the programme. During the first lesson, grammar and vocabulary are discussed. The second lesson is focused on interaction: conversation, pronunciation and presentation. All four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking are trained within this programme.
The afternoon programme includes sports, painting, fun on the beach or canoeing on the river, making a song and time to relax. In the evening it is time to relax: interactive games, a movie night and a party evening.
On Friday, the participants make snacks for the high tea. All parents are invited to the graduation ceremony on Friday at 3 pm. From the moment you arrive at Landgoed Rhijnauwen or Kasteel Assumburg until the graduation ceremony at the end of the week, or even two weeks, it is English Time!

Boost your English during Teen Camp 2020
Young people of all nationalities come together at one of our beautiful locations to improve their English and to have a fantastic time.
Communication & Presentation
Interaction is perhaps the most difficult part of the English language. All factual knowledge is used in communication. The knowledge acquired during grammar and vocabulary lessons is used here. With the aid of communication assignments the students are taught how to use their knowledge best. In the lessons we also work towards a short presentation in English.
Sports & Activities
The entire afternoon programme consists of sports, fun, relaxing and team building. The activities are mainly focused on fun and relaxing. Exercise is also very healthy. The activities also offer the opportunity to use English in a relaxed atmosphere.
Grammar & Vocabulary
Two hours of grammar and vocabulary are taught every day. Specific parts of the English grammar are explained intensively. Our specialised teachers explain everything perfectly. There is sufficient room for individual instruction within the small groups. The English language is known for its nuances. A broad vocabulary is desirable in order to be able to make a nuanced choice of words from there.
After dinner, the campers can catch their breath and relax. There is considerable time to chat with the other participants in or around the castle or country house. Interactive games are played, films can be watched, participants give their presentations and the last night ends with special performances.
